Overview Job Promotion #: COS-SUI 20XX-XX-CE Chief Engineer - SIU – COS / CPRS Minimum requirements: Chief Engineer – Ocean, Any HP, Limited – 1600GRT/3000 ITC License STCW (including but not limited to OICEW, VPDSD, and Advanced Fire Fighting) Medical Care Provider Current CPR/First Aid Training Lifeboatman Current TWIC Valid Passport – must be able to travel internationally with no felonies, DUI, or other convictions which would restrict entry into Canada or other nations. Responsibilities Minimum Experience: 3 years' experience as Engineer Kongsberg Dynamic Positioning System Maintainer Training Prior experience with towing vessel deck machinery Experience or training with PLC control systems Proficiencies with Word, Excel, Outlook and maintenance-based programs Preferred Experience: Experience with Caterpillar or Wartsila Qualifications Probation: 90 workdays Compensation: As per contract Geographic Area: Lake Charles or Jacksonville Homeport - East Coast/Gulf of Mexico This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Compensation, including hourly wages or salary, benefits, and other terms of employment, will be in accordance with the applicable union contract.
