OSM Thome is looking for a skilled Chief Cook (C/C) to serve on board an oil/chemical tanker trading worldwide. If you have strong galley experience at sea and enjoy working with an international crew, this could be a good match for you.

• Key responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare daily meals for crew and officers according to menu and budget
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in galley, store rooms and mess rooms
• Manage food stores, monitor stock levels and arrange timely requisitions
• Ensure proper handling, rotation and storage of provisions
• Follow all safety, health and sanitation procedures on board

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Chief Cook on tanker vessels (oil/chemical preferred)
• Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents as per rank
• Good knowledge of galley safety and food hygiene standards
• Able to work independently and manage galley operations
• Good English communication skills
