OVERVIEW
Back Cove Yachts builds single-engine downeast cruisers in Rockland, ME (sister company to Sabre). Hiring a Carpenter for yacht joinery, cabinetry and trim. Marine carpentry experience preferred.
We are hiring a Carpenter in Rockland, ME. In this role you will build and install marine joinery, cabinetry, and trim, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Build and install marine joinery, cabinetry, and trim
- Work in teak, mahogany, and composites
- Read drawings and fit interior/exterior woodwork
- Perform fine finishing and detail work
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Marine carpentry, boatbuilding, or fine woodworking experience
- Skilled with woodworking hand and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong attention to craftsmanship
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $42,000 to $66,000/year (about $20 to $32/hour), depending on experience.
