Edison Chouest Offshore is currently accepting applications for an Auto Mechanic position. Key Job Responsibilities: Must be able to diagnose and repair various computer controlled automotive systems using scan tools. Must be able to diagnose automotive electrical systems with the use of a volt/multimeter. Must have the ability to diagnose and repair the different systems found on an automobile such as brakes, engine, steering & suspension, transmissions & drive axles, A/C & Heating systems, powertrain management & engine performance. Must be willing to perform basic maintenance responsibilities as needed. Must be willing to accept the challenge and adapt to performing repairs to non-automotive equipment. Personal Qualifications Needed: Valid drivers license/ Clean MVR a must Dependable, Self Motivating, Problem Solver Strong Mechanical Background
