OVERVIEW
Edison Chouest Offshore is a family-owned, fully integrated offshore service-vessel company based in Cut Off/Galliano, LA, supporting Gulf of Mexico energy. Mariner roles require a USCG MMC with appropriate endorsements and a TWIC; work is rotational.
We are hiring a Assistant Engineer (OSV) in Offshore - Gulf of Mexico. In this role you will support engine-room operations and maintenance at sea, and contribute to our team’s quality and success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support engine-room operations and maintenance at sea
- Stand engineering watches
- Assist with repairs, fuel, and fluid transfers
- Maintain logs and follow safety procedures
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- USCG engineering credential (e.g., DDE/Asst Engineer)
- Marine machinery experience
- Valid MMC and TWIC
- Able to work offshore rotations
COMPENSATION
Estimated market range $72,000 to $112,000/year (about $35 to $54/hour), depending on experience.
