Execute daily accounts receivable (AR) operations for a designated region or product, by managing collections data, preparing SOA updates, reconciliations, and providing analytical insights on the AR items as required. To Drive with the purpose of achieving organizational goals and providing first level support for both technical and functional issues raised by end users

Key responsibilities:

• End-to-end AR process execution: incoming payment processing, on-account analysis, payment application, dispute follow-up, and reconciliations & Analyzing collections data and preparing reports

• Supporting financial decision-making by providing data-driven insights on receivables and customer behavior.

• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely SOA reviews and reconciliations.

• Identifying and flagging standardization and automation opportunities. (Projects)

• Supporting process improvement initiatives and providing data for structural fixes..

• Acting as a back up for leaders by driving & guiding team as an SME

• Meticulously follow collection policies and adhering to Maersk Norms

• Good in Soft Skills  also excels in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

  • Overall 5 to 6 years experience

  • Highly analytical, adaptable and agile

  • Handled AR process in the past

  • Willing to work on a mid shift schedule

  • Willing to work overtime during closing whenever the business needs

  • An analytical mind that is able to link/ relate to and analyze information

  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
