OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 3rd Officer for oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. Join us on board and support safe and efficient navigation and cargo operations in an international fleet.

Key Responsibilities

Stand navigational watches and ensure safe passage at sea and in port
Assist with cargo operations for oil/chemical cargoes as per company and industry standards
Maintain and update charts, publications, and navigational equipment
Carry out safety, security, and environmental protection duties as assigned
Participate in drills, inspections, and maintenance of deck and safety equipment
Support senior officers in all deck and bridge operations

Requirements

Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license, meeting STCW requirements
Tanker endorsement for oil/chemical (advanced preferred)
Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates
Good experience on oil/chemical tankers is an advantage
Good English communication skills
Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
