Rank: 3rd Engineer (3/E) · Vessel: Tanker - Chemical

Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on a chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will work with an experienced engineering team, keeping all machinery in good running order and supporting safe and efficient vessel operations.

Key responsibilities:

Assist in operation, maintenance and repair of main engine, auxiliaries and machinery
Carry out routine engine room watchkeeping and record keeping
Perform planned maintenance and report defects to senior engineers
Support bunkering, fuel transfer and engine room safety routines
Follow company and vessel procedures, especially for chemical tanker operations

Requirements:

Valid 2nd Engineer CoC (STCW) suitable for chemical tankers
Previous sea service in engine department, tanker experience preferred
Valid STCW safety courses and tanker / chemical tanker endorsements
Good English communication skills
Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
