Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on a modern car carrier trading worldwide. Be part of a professional engine team, keeping vessel machinery safe, reliable and running efficiently on all voyages.

Key responsibilities

Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and all engine room equipment
Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting as instructed by senior engineers
Monitor engine room parameters and report any deviations or defects
Keep engine room, workshops and stores clean, safe and well organized
Follow all safety, environmental and company procedures at all times

Requirements

Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) CoC, unlimited
Mandatory with IGF Advance and Basic
Previous seagoing experience in the engine department (car carrier or RORO experience an advantage)
Valid STCW certificates, medical and travel documents
Good English communication skills
Team player with a strong safety and work ethic
