Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer (2/E) on a chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operation of all machinery and equipment.

Key responsibilities:
Assist the Chief Engineer in safe and efficient running of the engine room
Operate, monitor and maintain main engine, auxiliaries and related systems
Plan and carry out routine maintenance and repairs
Oversee engine room crew in day-to-day duties
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company procedures
Keep accurate engine room logs and maintenance records

Requirements:
Valid 2nd Engineer (Motor) CoC, STCW-compliant
Previous experience as 2/E on chemical tankers preferred
Good knowledge of engine room operations and tanker safety
Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker / chemical tanker certificates
Good English communication skills
Medically fit for sea service
