1st Class Shipfitter

This onsite position requires U.S. Citizenship.

No per diem is paid for this position.

Rate:

$30.60/hour - day shift
$32.04/hr - night shift

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of recent shipyard experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in fitting, aligning, and installing structural parts (bulkheads, decks, frames, etc.).
• Skilled in using cutting, grinding, and welding tools (including tack welding).

Requirements:

• Must be physically capable of lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
• Willing to work in various weather conditions and follow safety protocols.
• Must pass drug screening
